Reggie’s Sleepout Des Moines

Date

Oct 21 2017

Time

3:00 PM

Location

Drake University Stadium- 27th and Forest, Des Moines, Iowa

Join the hundreds of people that will sleep out on the Drake Stadium field in boxes, tents, and sleeping bags! While one night can never completely replicate what it must feel like to be homeless, Reggie’s Sleepout provides insight into the lives of people who don’t have a place to call home.

Reggie’s Sleepout raises money and awareness for the hundreds of homeless youth living in Central Iowa today. October 21, 2017 marks the 12th Annual Reggie’s Sleepout. Since its inception in 2006, Reggie’s Sleepout has raised over $1.7 million for Iowa Homeless Youth Centers. Every dollar raised goes directly toward programs that assist homeless youth in achieving independence and self-sufficiency.

Help Iowa Homeless Youth Centers end youth homelessness at Reggie’s Sleepout. By registering, raising money, sleeping out, and spreading the word, we can break the cycle of poverty for youth in Central Iowa.

Each year, Iowa Homeless Youth Centers helps over 600 transition-age youth (16-22) who are at-risk or are currently experiencing homelessness. Learn more about Reggie’s Sleepout and how it impacts Iowa Homeless Youth Centers here.

We hope to see you at Drake Stadium for the 12th Annual Reggie’s Sleepout – Des Moines on Saturday, October 21, 2017!
