YSS Holiday Giving

YSS provides youth and families in need with gifts for the holidays thanks to your generous support. Each recipient is involved with a YSS program and has been identified as a youth or family in need.

There are two ways that you can help brighten the holidays for our deserving youth and families:

Sponsor a Family

Choose how many individuals or family members you would like to provide gifts for by selecting their wish lists. The wish list provides the ages, genders, and sizes of the recipients so you know how to shop for them.

Please click here to sign up to sponsor a family!

All sponsors must sign up by November 30th.

All gifts are to be delivered between December 6th and December 8th between 8:30am and 4:00pm to YSS, 420 Kellogg Ave, Ames.  Please return the wish list with the gifts and feel free to wrap the gift item(s)!

Giving Trees

Starting on November 18th, you may stop by a local business and pick up a gift tag indicating a specific gift request. Purchase the item on that tag, and return it to the location where you picked up the tag. Please attach the tag to the gift so we know whom to give it to!

Gifts must be returned to the business by December 8th. Feel free to wrap the gift and please ensure the tag is attached and visible.
